 The Immortal Aging System
« Thread Started on Apr 8, 2008, 1:57am »

For all immortal races we’ve adopted a system of aging in where the individual can speed up or slow down physical aging at will. This is to allow youngsters the ability to grow up as quickly as a mortal child would but pause the aging process at a desirable point in development at will. This means that a Classic Vampire could appear as young as 20 at the age of 856. The author of each character may choose the physical and actual age of each character as long as the actual age is never younger than the physical age. An example of this would be a 16 year old Alastran who is living in the body of a 43 year old. The only exceptions to this are the Undead, who inhabit bodies of various ages regardless of their actual age, the Returners who keep the physical age of their bodies regardless of how old they grow, and the Classic Vampires, who have the ability to turn back their physical age as well as move it forward.
