[ ]The Globe Theater
Build according to the research of a historical advisor it was opened in 1997. It now stages plays every summer around May to the first week October. In the winter it is used for educational purposes. The Globe is approximately 225 yards from the original site, center to center. It was the first thatched roof building permitted in London since the Great Fire of London. Like the original the theater has a thrust stage that projects into the large circular yard surrounded by three tiers of steeply raked seating. The stage and more expensive seating areas are the only covered parts of the amphitheatre. The Globe is partly joined to a modern lobby, visitors center and additional backstage support. Seating capacity is 1,380, with a further 500 “groundlings” standing (and you must stand, no sitting allowed) in the pit, an audience about half the size of that in Shakespeare’s time.

[ ]Kings Road
For a few blocks in either direction stretches this massive shopper’s destination. Brand name stores and designer outlets are lined against each other, their gorgeous merchandise modeled behind highly polished glass. Rich and well-to-do ladies can spend thousands of dollars here in mere hours if left alone with a credit card, and mild mannered husbands are often turned raging and red faced while their wives return with five thousand pounds worth of shoes.

[ ]Appartments
These studio and high rise apartments are lavish and textured, covered in either high price marble, granite, or travertine. The views which each accompanies is breathtaking, and behind silk or velvet curtains one can see Buckingham Palace, the Judicial buildings, and the legislative buildings. These apartments are pricey and hard to acquire, but when faced with a decision as to these or an alternative, there is usually no comparison. A well mannered butler guards the lobby entrance, and behind a highly polished marble desk sit three young attendants, their pleasing smiles and charming voices attending the traffic of confused visitors.

[ ]Tower Bridge
With a length of 800 feet the Tower Bridge, an undoubted landmark, is a combined bascule and suspension bridge opened in 1894 over the River Thames. It connects the Rich district with Central. Its two halves are lifted by hydraulic system. River traffic always takes priority over road traffic. There are four pedestrian walkways, one on each side of the bridge at road level. The two high-level walkways suspended directly above the low-level ones are used as exhibition areas. The high-level walkways between the towers have gained an unpleasant reputation as a haunt for prostitutes and pickpockets.

[ ]London World Zoo
Lions, Tigers, and......penguins? Animals from all regions of the Earth and all kingdoms of life. The zoo is laid out in a circular pattern and divided into ecosystems. There are gift shops and exhibits and shows to be enjoyed by the young and old. At night though it tends to be a popular spot for the more bestial minded races. A touch of roots can be found here, an oasis of nature in a desolate city.
